Following the not unexpected announcement last night that Race World Offshore (RWO) have cancelled this year’s Key West event, what have racers and fans got left to look forward to?

Well, RWO are ploughing on with the intention to run the Clearwater Hooters Offshore race over September 25-27.

The Offshore Powerboat Association (OPA) still have three events in their diary starting with the Crystal Coast Grand Prix to be held in Morehead City, North Carolina on the weekend of September 11-13.

Then two weeks later it’s up north for the Point Pleasant Beach Grand Prix in New Jersey with the Englewood Beach Waterfest set to be held over November 19-22 in Florida.
