The Victory Team’s Ahmed Al-Hameli will not race at the F1h2o Grand Prix of Abu Dhabi today.

Al-Hameli barrel-rolled (above) out of yesterday’s qualifying after a high-speed coming together with Peter Morin.

The 39 year old driver who was born in Abu Dhabi will stay in hospital until at least tomorrow.

His Team Manager, Scott Gillman commented on the situation:

Ahmed is okay but has some chest pains, probably from the impact and because of some water in his lungs.
