Al-Tayer promoted from fourth to third

Team Abu Dhabi’s Rashed Al-Tayer was promoted from fourth to third position in Sunday’s EDH Grand Prix of Norway (Tonsberg Båtrace) after Russian driver Konstantin Ustinov was disqualified from the official results after the race for an engine eligibility violation.

The additional three championship points earned means that the Emirati climbs to equal fifth in the UIM F2 World Championship after three rounds. Race winner Alberto Comparato retains an 18-point advantage over Tobias Munthe-Kaas.

Owen Jelf was also disqualified from the Tonsberg UIM F2 race for taking out a turn buoy.
