Ben Jelf will be the first British racer to compete in the 24 Heures Motonautiques de Rouen since his uncle Owen raced for Team Performance with Pablo Galiléa, Denis Jarnigon and Tullio Abbate.
2007 was the last year that there were any British teams entered, Jan Falkowski, John Puddifoot, Dave Field, John Masters and Drew Langdon, Les Warren flew the Union Flag in 2007 on the Seine.

Jelf will be racing for Team Magaur, the French team who will be fielding Mercury 60 EFI Formula Race powered Molgaard and Moore hulls in the S3 category.
