Daisy Coleman has teamed up with her brother Sam for a challenge on the P1 Superstock 2016 Championship.
Daisy, from Saundersfoot in Wales, has been racing in the series since 2012, her first race being a ‘baptism of fire’ in the Cowes Poole Cowes.
Sam having been the ‘Team Manager’ for the last 3 years, raced in a couple of P1 events last season and is now ready to tackle 2016 head on with his sister.
Both of the crew have been race trained by Neil Holmes, a 7 time Offshore World Champion.
29 year old Daisy, had her first lesson from Holmes after she was discharged from the Army following an injury in Afghanistan and has been racing as co-driver to John Wilson.
John has retired now and so my brother, Sam, is going to be replacing him in the driver’s seat.
Sam has been the team manager since 2013 and now we’ll have out first big competition together.
The pairing have been hard at work testing on Southampton Water this week under the watchful eye of Neil Holmes.
We have to thank all of our sponsors and partners that have made this possible, we are both working really hard to ensure that we bring them success this season.
The Coleman’s will be heading to the North Yorkshire coast next, for the opening round of the P1 Superstock season – The P1 Yorkshire Grand Prix of the Sea on 14th and 15th May.
