West Country restaurateur Martin Lai is making a return to offshore racing this season and he has announced today that Charlotte Camsey will be racing with him.

Camsey, an aerospace engineer, has started to make quite a name for herself in the sport, last December she finished third overall in the Asia Powerboat Championship – Singapore as a driver and navigated in the British UKOPRA series with Glynn Norvall in 2019.

The pair will compete in the Cowes Torquay Cowes this August in a Mercury powered 41′ Pantera, looking after the engineering and naviguessing on board will be John Lindsay who will be flying in from his home in Thailand to take part.
