The Jelf Racing Team have issued the following statement;

Colin Jelf remains on oxygen and is still being monitored regularly in ICU, but he is talking well and looking better.
He is in reasonably good spirits, comfortable, receiving the best possible care, and is expected to make a full recovery.
Once again, Jelf Racing would like to thank all the officials and especially the rescue teams and emergency services that helped Colin in his time of need.
They continue to be moved by the messages of support and offers assistance that have come in abundance.
Colin and the family are the team’s priority at the moment and further updates will be issued when appropriate to do so.
