Pole-sitter Erik Edin took a convincing win in the first heat of the 2017 UIM F2 European Championship.

An uneventful 15 laps saw Stefan Hagin and David Del Pin improve on their qualifying places, while Tobias Munthe-Kaas dropped from second to fourth after an engine issue.

Round 2 is due to start at 10.45 GMT.
