The Federação Portuguesa De Motonautica (FPM) announced last Thursday that the race in Portugal, which was scheduled for May 8-10, has been postponed and subsequently the mayor of Portimão, Isilda Gomes, told the Observador:

This public health measure reinforces the strategy adopted by the municipal authorities (of Portimão) to effectively combat the pandemic, cancelling all types of social, cultural and sporting events, while contributing to the reinforcement of the equipment applied to the treatment of patients in the local hospital unit.
