The Federação Portuguesa De Motonautica (FPM) have today announced that the UIM F1H2o race in Portimão, which was scheduled for May 8-10, has been postponed, FPM also included two UIM Aquabike meetings in the postponement notice.

With borders being closed and sporting events being called off due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the news comes as no real surprise to anyone who is following global events.

This is the second race of the 2020 UIM F1H2o World Championship to be hit by the virus, the season was set to start in Saudi Arabia later this month.
