Victory Team manager, Scott Gillman, celebrated his 60th birthday in Casale Monferrato, Italy with his wife Paola, friends and members of his team.
Gillman started his racing career at the age of 15 in motocross, and soon earned a ride with Team Suzuki.
In 1981, he moved to off-road racing and dominated closed-course racing, winning 3 consecutive championships.
His switch to powerboat racing was equally successful, he won 3 North American tour titles in 1990, 1995 and 1996.
His time as a driver in F1H2o included winning 4 World Championships with 53 podiums from 92 starts.
