John Moore on 16th June 2021

The first round of the 2021 UIM F2 World Championship will be competed for over the weekend of July 4-6 in Kupiškis, Lithuania and the event has already attracted 21 entrants.

Kupiškis was last used as a venue for UIM F2 racing in 2017 when Erik Edin won the European Championship over four heats, this year qualifying will take place on Monday the 5th from 16:00 to 18:00 (GMT +3) with the race set for Tuesday 6th at 17:00 (GMT +3).

The race will be held on a Lithuanian national holiday, with the date marking the coronation of King Mindaugas back in 1253.

Duarte Benavente who was crowned UIM F2 World Champion last September in Vila Velha de Ródão, will be defending his title against drivers from an impressive entry list.
