Today’s XCAT Hangzhou Grand Prix Pole Position developed into a virtual carbon copy of the yesterday’s practice session.

A resurgent Dubai Police claimed the bragging rights and pole position with a best lap of 2min 19.279sec to pip Team Abu Dhabi 4 to the premier starting position for the opening race.

The leading pair were almost two seconds up on the next trio of boats with the Blue Roo claiming third spot from 222 Offshore and Team Abu Dhabi 5. Videx and High Performance Italia (HPI) were next up, although all 12 boats managed at least one lap in the qualifying session.
