Hongkongers prepare for Singapore

Kiki Wong was testing in Hong Kong yesterday in preparation for the Asia Powerboat Association’s (APA) event in Singapore, to be held over the weekend of December 5-8.

40 year old Kiki, who lives in the New Territories where the testing took place, will become China’s first lady Powerboat Racer when she takes part in the Singapore championship.

Fellow Hongkonger, Siu Chun Kit, was also on the water testing one of the Tohatsu powered John Guille designed single-seater production T750 Shakespeare hulls.

The Asia Powerboat Championship -Singapore will be jointly organised by the APA and the Singapore Power Boat Association under the sanction of UKOPRA and will be held at the NSRCC Sea Sports Centre.
