Britain’s Owen Jelf took a fine win in today’s UIM F2 Lithuania repechage.
Jelf held off a strong challenge from 2016 UIM F2 European Champion Uvis Slakteris and then controlled the 14 lap race from the front.
Mette Brandt Bjerknæs, who announced this morning her intention to race in F1H2o next month in London, drove to third overall.
The top five drivers, Jelf, Slakteris, Bjerknæs, Sanz and Tourre go through to the main race this afternoon.
