Kissimmee secure P1 SuperStock UK victory in testing conditions

John Moore on 11th July 2016

Experience Kissimmee secured their first ever P1 SuperStock UK weekend victory to end a weekend of fantastic powerboat racing on the south coast.

High winds made things tricky out on the Solent as Gosport played host to the P1 English Grand Prix of the Sea this weekend in front of thousands of spectators at Stokes Bay.

Picking up where they left off on Saturday, the Experience Kissimmee team of Neil and Jason Jackson used their racing experience to make the best of their way home in race four after a second in race three put them within touching distance of victory.

Championship leaders Pertemps Network continued their excellent start to the season to finish second overall, taking their first victory of the weekend in race three.

The final podium place was perhaps something of a surprise as Rawbank overcame mechanical difficulties on day one to pick up some valuable points on Sunday and sneak into third position for the weekend.

The P1 SuperStock UK Championship now heads to Cardiff in six weeks time before ending the season back on the south coast in Bournemouth on September 3/4.
