Chris Loney has thrown his hat in the ring to stand for Chairman of the UIM Formulae Committee, following the resignation of Pelle Larsson.

Loney who has chaired the UIM affiliated British Power Boat Association (BPBA) and Circuit Powerboat Association (CPA) since 2018 spoke to PRW today about the role and where he perceives the sport can progress.

To be elected, it´s not just to be nominated. Chris Loney and the other candidates have to get more than 50% support from the voting delegates, and after that, UIM Council will nominate the President of the committee.
