After successfully organising their inaugural race in Hong Kong last November, the Asia Powerboat Association (APA) are busy putting their next event together – In Macau.
The event will be held over the weekend of May 3-5 and will be based at Fisherman’s Wharf, the largest leisure and themed entertainment complex in Macau.
Admission will be free to the public and the races will be supported by stage shows and dozens of stalls for tourists.
Sarah Donohue is currently inviting drivers from around the globe to compete in Asia on behalf of the APA:

I think powerboat racing fans will be in for a real treat when we announce the driver’s who will be competing at the event in May.
I’m sworn to secrecey at the moment, but the Asia Powerboat Association will be making the driver announcement’s at a press conference in Macau later this month.
