After completing three free practice sessions, Jonas Andersson set the fastest time of the day with an impressive 44.281-second lap during FP2. This allowed him to conserve his equipment, opting not to participate in FP3. Meanwhile, Rusty Wyatt completed 16 laps in FP3, but his FP1 time of 44.880 remained his best for the day, showcasing the prowess of the Team Sharjah sensation. The Victory Team, led by Erik Stark, also achieved their top time in FP1 with a 44.646, securing the second fastest lap overall.
“We tested a lot of different things under finally normal conditions,” said Jonas Andersson. “It wasn’t just pure luck this time, so we’re pleased with our performance and speed.”
