American motor sports all rounder, Travis Pastrana, will race with Steve Curtis in Miss GEICO this season.

The former NASCAR racer who has won championships in supercross, motocross, freestyle motocross, and rally racing has even replicated three of Evel Knievel’s most famous jumps in Las Vegas.

Pastrana who will replace Britain’s Miles Jennings at the wheel of the 47′ Victory catamaran said:

Challenging myself on the highest possible level while having fun with some of the most passionate people on earth has been the foundation of my racing career.

Last year, I had the opportunity to race my good friend Brit Lilly’s offshore powerboat, and was introduced to the world of offshore racing.

I am excited to learn from the best with the Miss GEICO team and see what running through the waves at 160 mph feels like.

Steve Curtis commented on his new team-mate:
