Following the news that Race World Offshore has been awarded a 5 year contract to host racing at Key West, the organiser is now seeking to attract competitors from overseas.
Lee Stanford, Race World Offshore’s Business Development manager told me:
We are would like to invite teams from the international community to come to the US for our program.
We are open to any class, in fact, given a reasonable number of boats entering a race, we would add a class if a group of similar boats wanted to participate and could not normally ‘fit in’ current rules.
We have the needed contacts for shipping, storage between events and even engine work.
Stanford has a limited number of sponsorship opportunities for teams wanting to make the trip, he continued:
The spotlight will be on Race World Offshore now that we will be producing the Key West event and the opportunities for promotion are significant.
Race World Offshore is known for streamlined online registration, rigorous adherence to technical rules and promoting proper sportsmanship on and off the course.
We are looking for quality teams who desire to showcase their skills here in the USA.
