Rashed Al-Qemzi tops practice times in Denmark

Defending UIM F2 World Champion Rashed Al-Qemzi of Team Abu Dhabi dominated the first practice session for the Grand Prix of Denmark in Aalborg on Saturday morning with a best lap of 50.55sec during his 38 laps on the water that put him at the top of the standings.

Germany’s Stefan Hagin, F2 series leader Alberto Comparato of Italy and Sweden’s Oskar Samuelsson held top four positions early in the session.

Al-Qemzi eventually confirmed the session win with a lap of 50.55sec, as American Brent Dillard and Norway’s Tobias Munthe-Kaas climbed into second and third positions and Christian Carlsen rounded off the top four.

Team Abu Dhabi’s Rashed Al-Tayer was down in 14th position with a best lap of 52.84sec.
