Edgaras Riabko will will be using a newer DAC hull this season in his pursuit of the UIM F2 World Championship.
The Lithuanian has purchased the hull that was campaigned by Russian driver Andrey Ovchinnikov during the 2019 Zarasai European championship.
After under-performing the boat was subsequently tested by Guido Cappellini’s Team Abu Dhabi later that year and it showed a promising turn of speed.
In pre-season testing Riabko has proven that the hull is one second faster than his trusty 2014 boat, he puts this down to a superior aerodynamic package and that the 2019 boat is 19 kg lighter.
Riabko is the main organiser of the first round of the championship which starts this weekend in Kupiskis with qualifying taking place on Monday and the race is set to start at 17:15 (GMT +3) on Tuesday.
