Edgaras Riabko won the first 2 heats of the 2019 UIM F2 European Championship in Zarasai today, putting him in a commanding position to retain his title.
Heat 1 was restarted after Frode Sundsdal had a spectacular crash. It certainly didn’t help pole sitter, Tobias Munthe-Kaas, who dropped to third after the restart, however after ending up third overall after 2 heats he was philosophical:
