San Nazzaro to host F1H20 season opener

San Nazzaro in Italy will play host to the first round of the 2021 UIM F1H20 World Championship in September.

The series hasn’t run an event since December 2019 and this confirmation will come as welcome news to all involved in the sport.

The ‘Grand Prix of Europe’ will be held on the River Po where the Motonautica San Nazzaro is based, the club have already hosted the start of the Raid Pavia-Venezia and the GT30 and F2 Italian national championships this season.

Lavinia Cavallero, of H2o Racing commented on the news:

We are very happy to resume our racing activity in Italy and in a location which means a lot for the powerboat racing world.

I would like to thank everyone involved for their work, effort and help for us to put on the Grand Prix of Europe.

The Grand Prix of Europe will take place over the weekend of September 10-12.

The Grand Prix of Sharjah will take place over December 13-18.
