In a sensational last minute announcement made this afternoon, Erik Stark will take part in the first round of the 2018 UIM F1H2o World Championship.

Stark has secured a drive with the French team, Maverick F1 Racing and is now preparing the hull for scruitineering in Portimão, Portugal on Friday.

The Swedish driver has won 4 World Championships in UIM F2 and took a Bronze Medal in last year’s F1H2o Championship.

He will be a welcome late guest this weekend.
