Sweden’s Erik Stark, who finished third in last years F1H2o Championship will sensationally miss the opening round of the 2018 season in Portimão, Portugal.

Powerboat Racing World reported back in March that fellow Swede, Erik Edin had taken Stark’s seat in Team Sweden for this this year, however, I understand that a 3 boat team was on the cards.
Stark has been trying to procure sponsors throughout the winter, sadly he hasn’t managed to find the budget to start the season.
The 4 time UIM F2 World Champion will be a big loss from the premier circuit powerboat racing series as he was thought to have been one of the leading contenders for this year’s World Championship.
