Over the Bank Holiday weekend, the Lowestoft & Oulton Broad Motor Boat Club 2022 season got under way.

Unfortunately for OSY400 pilot Scott Goodings it didn’t last long before he took a tumble at the Wherry Turn.

Having sat next to him there when visiting the racecourse, I know that this is the happy hunting ground of photographer Fred Emeny and once again he was on hand to capture all the action.

 

Fortunately for the Sentinel Autocare Singapore/SGB sponsored Goodings he was not seriously injured and posted later on social media.

Not a great start to my season, going in a bit hard maybe. No more racing this weekend unfortunately as I’m sore and need the cut to heal before the next meeting.

He went on to thank the Rescue Teams and Paramedics, the Crebb family and others that helped him.
