Faleh Al-Mansoori and Shaun Torrente made a stunning start to their partnership by setting the quickest time in Wednesday morning’s opening practice session at the opening round of the UIM XCAT World Championship in Fujairah.

The Team Abu Dhabi 4 duo ran for five laps and carded a fastest of 2min 16.937sec. That was nearly seven seconds faster that the lap submitted by Team Australia.

Maritimo was third, less than a second further behind, and Team Abu Dhabi 5’s Rashed Al-Tayer and Majed Al-Mansoori were fourth in the brand new American-built MTi.
