Pål-Virik Nilsen and Jan Trygve Braaten took Pole Position for the XCAT Shanghai Grand Prix, the fifth round of the 2018 World Championship.

The Norwegian duo clocked a fastest time of 02.09,718 in The Blue Roo, just in front of Shaun Torrente and Faleh Al-Mansoori in the Team Abu Dhabi 4 who posted a 02.09,880 best.

The Championship leaders, Arif Saif Al-Zafeen and Nadir bin Hendi in Dubai Police were third quickest with a 02.10,736.
