TMK takes pole for Tonsberg sprints

Tobias Munthe-Kaas took his first pole position in Tonsberg since 2017 today.

This will allow the Norwegian to start from pole for the first of two sprint races this afternoon. The overall winner of those will start first for the grand final which will be live streamed this evening.

Munthe-Kaas was fastest in the UIM F2 free practice session this morning, he was followed by Edgaras Riabko and Frode Sundsdal.

Munthe-Kaas who won the match race last night, posted a 40.45 lap time some 1.38 seconds faster than Lithuanian Riabko.

Sundsdal carded a 41.85.

Pole Position

After lunch Munthe-Kaas set a 39.71 which gave him pole position for this afternoon’s race.

Sweden’s Bimba Sjoholm was an impressive second fastest with Riabko third.
