Even in 2020 during the health crisis, Norway’s oldest town held a UIM International Ordinary race.
This year Sundsdal has attempted to run a similar weekend although date clashes with UIM International races have diluted interest.

We are aiming to put on a race during the first weekend of next August.
We have started the application process and preparations for a major international championship, because now we know what we need’ explained an optimistic Frode Sundsdal.
