Shaun Torrente put on a masterclass of Formula One powerboat driving on the River Po this afternoon.

The two-time world champion from Florida recovered from a slow start to totally dominate the Grand Prix of Regione Emilia Romagna.

Jonas Andersson was second and Alec Weckstrom third.

An incident packed race included significant damage to Sami Seliö and Marit Strømøy’s BaBa hulls.

Fortunately, no one was injured…

Strømøy got stuck in her cockpit and suffered back pain after the incident – She will be thoroughly checked out before racing tomorrow.
