Swedish wins for the Bengtsson’s in Class 3 C with Fredrik Groth Fyrö and Lina Thorén taking the honours in Class 3B.

One very pleased driver in Class 3B was Veronica Olderin. The 2015 UIM World Champion has had to put it mildly, a tough 2016 racing season which included turning over her Twister cat in Norway last month. She told me tonight;

We needed a smooth race to get the right mindset and focus back, we are so happy with third place.
I got thrown out of the boat during practice and the boat has been broken since that.
The boat was in one piece yesterday for the first time and my dad came this morning and helped us with the last issues.
I couldn’t have done it without him.

The second and final heat will be raced for tomorrow.
