The UIM 3A and C classes today raced the first of 2 heats which will decide the 2017 European Championship.

The event held in Tvedestrand, Norway was missing the Class 3B fleet.

After being unable to attract enough competitors, the organisers handed the Championship back to the UIM last week.

Swedes, Anton Modin and Susanne Jansson steered their Phantom 19G to victory in the A class, whilst Marcus Johnsson and Jussi Myllymäki from Finland prevailed in C.

The second and final heat is scheduled for 14.00 CET tomorrow.
