UIM confirms UAE XCAT finale

After the cancellation of the XCAT Xiamen races in China that were due to be held this weekend, the UIM have confirmed that the final two rounds of the 2018 World Championship will be held over the weekend November 29th – December 1st in the UAE.

The races in the UAE will set-up the contest between Championship leaders, Team Abu Dhabi 4’s Shaun Torrente and Faleh Al-Mansoori who have 213 points against Nadir Bin Hendi and Arif Saif Al-Zafeen in Dubai Police who are 9 points behind them.

With two races and 70 points up for grabs, 3 other teams have a mathematical chance of taking the championship, Abu Dhabi 5 (Rashed al Tayer and Majed al Mansoori) have 184 points, followed by The Blue Roo – Team Australia (Pål Virik Nilsen and Jan Trygve Braaten) are on 162 and 222 Offshore (Giovanni Carpitella and Darren Nicholson) have 159 points.
