The UK distributor of Mercury outboards, EP Barrus are aiming high this season.

This season they will supporting Matt Palfreyman’s UIM F2 World Championship challenge with technical and engineering expertise.

Lee Allen, Technical Service Manager for Barrus, will be attending races with Palfreyman, starting this weekend in Kaunas, Lithuania.

Allen commented from the company’s HQ in Bicester this morning;

We are very confident of a championship win this year, we have excellent product support and a very talented pilot at the helm.

24 year old Palfreyman, who secured a UIM F2 European Silver medal last season, said in Kaunas this afternoon;

It is great to have Barrus behind us this year and I am confident that I can reward their support with a British World Championship win to help mark the company’s centenary celebrations.

Palfreyman’s ‘eclectic team’ are gathering in Lithuania to prepare the hard charging Brit for the ultimate accolade – Gold in 2017.
