UIM F2 boats head to Kupiškis

John Moore on 29th June 2021

The first round of the 2021 UIM F2 World Championship will be held in Kupiškis next Tuesday and some of the boats are already starting to make the trip to Lithuania.

Qualifying will take place next Monday from 16:00 to 18:00 (GMT +3) with the race set to start at 17:00 (GMT +3) the following day.

There will be a live stream on both days and links to the broadcasts will be published nearer to the event.

Tomas Skamaročius, broadcast director for the event, will have his team lay over one kilometre of cable in Kupiškis:

We will be using professional equipment, and the television pictures will be prepared by an experienced broadcasting team.

We are currently working on where to place the cameras, the powerboat circuit takes up a large area and is quite a challenge.

We will need all that cable!

Post a photo of your boat in transit to Lithuania in the Facebook comments below this article.
