UIM F2 – It’s time for Mette to shine

Norway’s Mette Brandt Bjerknæs has today revealed the 2017 livery on her UIM F2 Moore hull and announced a new partnership with Bruvik Fine Timepieces in front of the first round of the World Championship to be held in Kaunus, Lithuania this weekend.

The lady driver will be campaigning her all white boat under the Mette Bjerknes Racing‬ banner, having been with Team Lundin F1 Racing for the last few years.

Her former team mate, 2015 and 2016 UIM F2 World Champion Pierre Lundin has retired from racing and the English school teacher from Drøbak said at the reveal, ‘This is a perfect time to have my own racing team and a new brand identity’.

‘I am thrilled to announce my partnership with Bruvik Fine Timepieces, an Independent Norwegian watch brand and am proud to be their new brand ambassador alongside Norwegian Biathlon star Tarjei Bø’.

Rune Bruvik the founder of the company commented, ‘Our brand has been quickly renowned for its unique concept. We are particularly pleased to welcome Mette as our new ambassador, her values align perfectly with our company ethos’.
