UIM F2 Season Opener in Lithuania

John Moore on 17th June 2019

The wait is nearly over for the start of the 2019 UIM F2 World Championship.

The first round will be competed for in Kaunus, Lithuania over 29-30 June, and there is already a very healthy fleet of drivers entered from 14 countries.

Race organiser, Edgaras Riabko, will be representing the host nation, at last year’s Grand Prix of Lithuania, he finished runner up to eventual World Champion, Alberto Comparato.

Comparato is now plying his trade in F1H2o, and his championship winning DAC hull will be raced this season by America’s Brent Dillard.

With the Victory Team and New Star still to post their entries, it looks to be an intriguing season opener in East Europe.
