The French Maverick Racing team celebrated with ‘joie de vivre’  in London last weekend.

Erik Stark who joined the Lyon based team last month, gave Maverick their first ever F1H2o pole and race victory.

In F4-S, Xavier Autard (below) claimed 2 pole positions for the team and was second overall over the 2 races held on Royal Victoria Dock.

Cedric Deguisne overcame a series of mechanical issues, a collision with another competitor during Free Practice and finished the F1H2o Grand Prix of London in 9th place, grabbing 2 vital Championship points in the process.

F1H2o debutant Mette Brandt Bjerknæs (above) battled to a worthy 11th place whilst suffering the loss of her power steering.

The team will compete in their home country for the third round of the 2018 UIM F1H2o World Championship and Erik Stark goes into the Evian race lying third in the Drivers Championship, just 6 points behind Philippe Chiappe.
