In our article yesterday, we reported that Shaun Torrente and Thani Al Qemzi had been confirmed as the drivers to represent Team Abu Dhabi this season.

The team who fielded 3 drivers in 2018 were only allowed to run a 2 boat team this season and that means that 2018 Silver Medalist Erik Stark finds himself without a drive.

Team Abu Dhabi later posted this message on their social media page:

Did this mean that Stark would be rejoining Jonas Andersson and racing for Team Amaravati this season?

I asked Stark and his reply was guarded:

I’m sorry, there is nothing I can say right now.
