This afternoon’s UIM F1H20 Grand Prix of Regione Sardegna that is being held in Olbia will have a revised start procedure.

The top ten drivers from yesterday’s qualifying session will start first under lights:

1) Thani Al-Qemzi
2) Alberto Comparato
3) Shaun Torrente
4) Jonas Andersson
5) Sami Seliö
6) Alec Weckström
7) Marit Strømøy
8) Ferdinand Zandbergen
9) Philippe Chiappe
10) Kalle Viippo

Five seconds later the final five boats will start:

11) Bartek Marszalek
12) Cédric Deguisne
13) Duarte Benavente
14) Filip Roms
15) Alexandre Bourgeot

The course has also been changed from yesterday, the F1H2o officials have removed the right hander on the back straight to allow for better lapping.

The race will be run over 70 laps.

In this morning’s Second Free Practice, boats were lapping nearly 3 seconds faster than qualifying yesterday.
