Following last week’s heartfelt message from the Rouen Yacht Club where they asked for funding support for the 57th Edition of 24 Heures Motonautiques de Rouen, Jérémy Brisset, one of the RYC members has now sent all the UIM Federations a request for them to notify potential race teams about this seasons UIM World Championship, Circuit Class Endurance S2-S3.

We need new teams, in particular it would be great to have new foreign teams’ said the 2021 UIM S3 World Champion.

“At the moment ninety per cent of teams are French, we need and want to get a great World Championship for the future. All the new foreign teams who want to race in S2 or S3 at Rouen can be helped with tents, and Fuel station equipment. So, if any teams are interested they can either contact their National Federation or they can contact me for more information about the race, price of registration, and rules.”

For the 2022 UIM World Championship there had been hope of running four races at three different venues but although no official announcement has been made yet.

 

Powerboat Racing World has been told that the proposed second round, due to be held in Caen, France at the end of May will now not take place following a decision made by the city’s mayor Joël Bruneau.

 

So, this year Championship will start with the 24 Heures Motonautiques de Rouen which should take place from Friday April 29 concluding on Sunday May 1st.

Then it’s off too Poland in July where the Augustowski Klub Sportowy Sparta will be hosting the teams for the Seventeenth Edition of the Necko Endurance 2022 Double 6 Hours of Augustów.

 

Brisset has confirmed that he will once again be teaming up with Quentin Dailly and Romuald Kauffman as the three Frenchman prepare to defend their UIM S3 World Championship titles.
