ThunderCat Racers have headed north this weekend, to Liverpool.
Leaving the sunny beaches of Cornwall behind them, Rounds 5 and 6 of the 2016 Microlink ThunderCat Racing Championship will be competed for on the River Mersey.
Complementing a busy International Mersey River Festival, the competitors will be competing in no less than 4 ‘Enduro Races’ over the weekend.
Multi-winning Bligh Julius has decided the Mersey conditions are far too tough for him and the UK/South African Moku Team have celebrations to attend to in Southampton.
It leaves Rounds 5 and 6 wide open, with new challengers and whoever takes the glory, they can expect huge support from the expected 100,000 spectators.
