Sundblad Johansen and Aunvik Take Close UIM 3C Win in Tvedestrand

Norway’s Erik Sundblad Johansen and Robert Aunvik beat Marcus Johnsson and Jussi Myllymäki from Finland by just a few meters in the first heat of the 2019 UIM World Championship held in Tvedestrand today.

The 2018 UIM Class 3C European Champions held off multi World Champion Johnsson with an average speed of 78.42 knots in a Twister cat dominated class, which were perfect for the conditions.

Race 2 is scheduled for Friday at 13:00 CET with the final to be started on Saturday at the same time.
