There will be live streaming from Finland this weekend.
To watch all the action from the first round of the 2016 UIM F2 World Championship, to be held on Lake Peurunkajarvi, Finland, British driver Matt Palfreyman has set up a YouTube channel.
We first tried out the technology at the Powerboat GP race at St Helens a couple of weekends ago and we got a really positive response. Lot’s of people can’t be in Finland to watch the racing and we thought a live stream of qualifying and the race would add extra value.
Palfreyman’s YouTube channel can be found here and it is best to subscribe for notifications of latest uploads.
The 2015 UIM F2 Silver medallist is quietly confident of a good result to open his season’s account, I caught up with him during Round 6 of the 2016 Microlink ThunderCat Racing Championship held on the River Mersey last weekend.
Once I had prised him away from chatting with Miss Liverpool he told me,
We’ve had a last minute dash sourcing parts and repairing my Moore hull after the Powerboat GP race, but everything is sorted out now.
Not only can you follow Palfreyman’s channel, Chris Davies will be posting words and pictures for us on the event over the weekend.
