Following yesterday’s announcement that the first round of the UIM F2 World Championship has been moved back, Team Abu Dhabi team manager Guido Cappellini has taken the opportunity to get back behind the wheel and compete in the Raid Pavia Venezia.

The ten-time UIM F1H2O world champion will be racing in an Abu Dhabi DAC which will be powered by the brand new Mercury Racing 360 APX four-stroke motor.

The 400 KM race will be held on June 6 and is organised by the The Pavia Motorboat and Venice Motorboat associations, the boats start in Pavia and race to Venice on the same day.

I’m hoping to be in Italy to cover the 69th running of the event and there maybe a few more surprise competitors!
