After meticulous pre-event preparation for the Kopiko Grand Prix of Indonesia, the Race Director, Luis Miguel Ribeiro, had no other option but to postpone today‘s BRM Qualifying due to strong winds and rough water. The season opener of 2023 will take place in full on Sunday. Jonas Andersson was the fastest driver in the morning‘s free practice, with defending world champion Shaun Torrente in second place and Marit Strømøy coming in third.
Q1, Q2 and Q3 will now be held tomorrow (Sunday) with the race set to start at 08:00 (GMT – Add 7 hours for local time).
